STUDIES ON THE EFFICACY OF FERMENTED MILK FOR HEALTH AND BEHAVIOR OF LACTOBACILLI IN THE ARTIFICIAL DIGESTIVE FLUID



Abstract
In order to investigation and observation on the efficacy of fermented milk for human health, and¢¥
behavior of Lactobacillus case YIT 9018 in the various artificial digestive fluids.
It is hoped that the information will be use for reference in future endeavors of study in the field of-¢¥
public health and food science in Korea. The results obtained were summarized as follows:
(1) Results of efficacy rate (%) of fermented milk after drink were care of constipation or diarrhea in.
34.7¡¾4.5%: appetite and easy to digest in 32.6¡¾6.4% : prevention of food poisoning in 9.0¡¾2. 1%
and growth effects of infant and childhood in 17.5¡¾6.1%, respectively.
(2) Behavior of L. casei YIT 9018 for the fermented milk strain was showed tolerance to gastric
Juice, bile juice and enteric juice in the artificial digestive fluid.
